The Mission of ABWA
The Mission of the American Business Women's Association is to bring together businesswomen of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support, and national recognition.
Indianapolis Charter Chapter
Our league has been an active part of the community for 74 years.
As the longest-active chapter in ABWA, we are a diverse group of professionals representing a wide variety of businesses and career paths. Our journeys are in various stages, yet our dedication to the ABWA mission is the glue that brings us together.
Our Vision Statement for the 2025-2026 League Year is as follows: " We believe in the power of women to grow, learn, and lead. Our league fosters belonging through friendships, support, and caring encouragement. We are committed to creating a fun and diverse environment where education, networking, and recognition empower members to become confident, dependable leaders in business and life.
Monthly League Meetings
We meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at the Northside Events & Social Club located at 2100 East 71st Street in Indianapolis, Indiana (just west of Keystone Avenue). Networking begins at 5:30 pm until the dinner meeting is called to order at 6:00 pm.
