Since March 5, 1952, our mission
has been to support and encourage women as they grow both personally and professionally.
The Mission of the American Business Women's Association is to bring together businesswomen of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support, and national recognition.
Our league has been an active part of the community for 71 years.
As the longest-active chapter in ABWA, we are a diverse group of professionals representing a wide variety of businesses and career paths. Our journeys are in various stages, yet our dedication to the ABWA mission is the glue that brings us together.
Our Vision Statement for the 2024-2025 League Year is as follows:
Is to bring together women of different ages, backgrounds and diversity to help them with their professional aspirations by offering them support, friendship, a safe space to share their ideas, and educational opportunities...And in doing so, building lifelong friendships along the way
We meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at the Northside Events & Social Club located at 2100 East 71st Street in Indianapolis, Indiana (just west of Keystone Avenue). Networking begins at 5:30 pm until the dinner meeting is called to order at 6:00 pm. During our meeting we have a program that focuses on relevant topics to promote the growth of our members personally and professionally.
